Our partnerships with overseas IR companies enable us to provide various global IR support services.
Overseas Shareholder ID Surveys
We conduct surveys to identify overseas shareholders, who would otherwise be difficult to identify. We will propose appropriate survey methods, scales, and companies based on the needs, requests, and budget of the client. We also propose improvements to IR activities based on the distribution of shareholders by region and investment style.
Edge International has developed and maintains a global database of institutional investors comprising approximately 1,300 institutions dealing in Japanese stocks as well as over 3,000 fund managers and analysts around the world. Utilizing this database, we will identify the potential shareholders that the client should target. On client request, we can also refine the scope based on such factors as region, investment style, and stocks held.
Perception Studies for Overseas Investors
We conduct perception studies (institutional investor perception studies) targeting overseas buy-side investors. Generally, these are conducted in the form of direct interviews by telephone. We collect both positive and negative evaluations from investors, and then use these to propose improvements to IR programs based on both the expectations and concerns of investors.
We assist clients in planning, producing, and publishing IR and corporate advertisements targeting the financial community through such media as financial publications and business magazines. In recent years, many Japanese companies have held IR presentations and other forums for investors in Europe and the United States. Amidst this trend, engaging in properly timed, periodic IR advertising campaigns can be a powerful tool in raising investor awareness and interest in the client company.
